It's hard to believe that the holidays are here! For most of us, this is the busiest time of the year, and yet, it is also a time to slow down, enjoy our connections and celebrate the year end. So we invite you right now to take a few moments out of your day to breathe and to find gratitude in the little things. For in truth, our lives are made whole by the little things.
With the recent tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, our hearts go out to the survivors and to the community of Newtown, Connecticut. We are reminded that the lives of children, and indeed of all people on this planet, are precious. Tragedies happen every day around the world and we must all find a way to start healing as a global community.
In the true spirit of giving this holiday season, we ask you to consider one simple way to continue the healing - though a small act of goodness for someone less fortunate. Not only can this create a ripple of change to an entire community, but it can also bring joy and meaning to your own life.
We have many things to be grateful for this year - and at the top of our list is you. To the Gracias supporters and ambassadors who are the very foundation of our service to others, a humble thank you.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season, full of laughter, love, and many blessings.

Set up your campaign and collect donations directly to our PayPal account with our fundraising tool
Not the athletic type? Get creative with a fun campaign! Here are some ideas. You can still use our nifty fundraising tool to collect donations.
* Party: host a wine tasting, dinner party, or karaoke night. Charge an entrance "donation"
* Birthday pledge: ask for donations in the amount of your age, in lieu of gifts
* The annoying bunny: ask a colleague to wear a bunny suit to the office. Coworkers donate $5 each for the bunny to follow around a top manager for 5 minutes each. The manager has to donate more than the total pot of donations to make the bunny go away!
* Talents & hobbies: bake cakes, take photographs, teach dance or yoga, and ask for donations in lieu of your service
